Mara the Label is created by designer and founder, Mara McGinley. Inspired by vintage, London, California and nature. Mara the Label designs clothing bringing confidence and ease into your wardrobe.

Mara graduated from the University of San Francisco with a Bachelor’s degree in Design, accompanied by a semester abroad at Central Saint Martins College, in London with a fascination for fashion, design and printmaking.

Dreaming of creating a fashion brand, Mara attended FIDM in the Fashion Design, Professional Designation program, graduating in 2015. Her final collection, was inspired by the Mojave Desert and the idea of transitioning looks from evening to day with the drastic temperature changes in the desert.

All pieces are designed to add fluidity and a feeling of being free. Mara translates to the sea.

Manufactured in Downtown Los Angeles.
