Ended

WHERE:

London

WHAT:

Don’t miss this final opportunity to learn about the history of Rayne shoes alongside the Museum display. Hear behind-the-scenes insights from Michael Pick, curator of the display and author of ‘Rayne Shoes for Stars’.

Rayne opened doors in 1885 as a theatrical shoemaker gracing the feet of London’s leading actors and dancers. The business evolved to become a favourite of Britain’s great and good and, in 1936, Queen Mary gave the company a royal warrant. Many other members of the Royal Family became customers. Her Majesty The Queen chose to wear Rayne shoes for her wedding to Prince Philip in 1947, and remained loyal to the company for years.

Tour starts 3pm and will last approximately 20-30 minutes. Museum closes 5pm. Ticket includes admission to RIVIERA STYLE Resort & Swimwear since 1900 exhibition, which guests are welcome to view before or after the tour.

* Free with exhibition entry. Limited to 20 places. Booking recommended
