1966: The Year The Decade Exploded

Meet Jon Savage to discuss 1966, the year the ‘Sixties’ hit their Modernist peak and the subject of his new book. Learn the unique chemistry of music, art, fashion and radical politics that shaped the pop future of the century.

The event starts at 6pm with a glass of wine in the Museum foyer and opportunity to view the exhibition Liberty in Fashion; the talk and discussion follows at 6.15pm for 6.30pm in the Fashion Studio and lasts for approximately one hour including the chance to ask questions at the end. It is followed by a book signing.

£15 / £12 students includes exhibition entry, a drink and book signing.
