The conversation will focus on the latest edition of Marketa’s Fashion in Film Festivals, Wearing Time, which took place in Miami in January this year, and will be restaged in an extended form in London next year. Co-curated with the eminent film scholar Tom Gunning, the festival explores how film and fashion together evoke and reflect on time. The festival asks what concrete manifestations of time fashion and clothing enable: What kind of chronologies and histories? Origins and memories? Echoes and shadows? Projections, visions, or premonitions?
