The book tells the story of 25 pieces which have not only changed the world of fashion, but also reflect world-changing events from the world wars to the gay rights movement in 1970s San Francisco to the Space Race. His selection includes one of Alexander McQueen’s 1998 spectacular designs for Givenchy.
