To tie-in with the romantic classic Roman Holiday screening, Helen Trompeteler co-curator of the forthcoming exhibition Audrey Hepburn: Portraits of an Icon at the National Portrait Gallery; talks about the enduring appeal of the original doe-eyed waif who became a style icon and legend of the screen.

Audrey Hepburn: Portraits of an Icon opens at the National Portrait Gallery, London, on 2 July 2015. For tickets and info visit npg.org.uk.

Doors open for evening events at 18.30 for a complimentary drink in the Behind the Screen bar, accessed from the River Terrace entrance via Waterloo Bridge. Talks start at 19.00 and last approximately one hour.
