Connaught Village Garden Festival

Follow the Connaught Village dog-friendly walking tour and visit the Hyde Park Estate’s five secret residential gardens for a small donation of £6 to the National Garden Scheme charity. The Gardens include Coniston, Devonport, Quadrangle, Reflections and the award-winning modernist garden, The Water Gardens. Each garden has information on the flowers, and the natural wildlife found living in the middle of the West End - including one friendly heron! Last year the NGS donated over £3 million to its beneficiary charities.
Experience many free craft workshops and botanical themed events, including terracotta pot painting, macrame weaving, botanical life drawing, flower arranging and much more. Begin with a morning yoga flow, stay for an afternoon of alfresco feasting, and explore the many independent shops, art galleries, and cafés. Discover Hyde Park stables - tucked away in the stylish Bathurst Mews - and meet the horses that reside there or arrange to go for an afternoon canter in the park. Plus take advantage of a glorious array of exclusive in store promotions!
If that’s not enough, enjoy a sculptural garden talk by renowned local artists Heywood and Condie, the custodians and designers of the Hyde Park Estate gardens who specialise in horticultural installation art. Also taking place on the day will be a historical walking tour with author and award-winning Blue Badge Guide Rachel Kolsky.
