Couverture & The Garbstore partners with London Craft Week for an opportunity to create a contemporary Korean hand fan using traditional hanji paper, bamboo, and maple wood. Tradition meets modern life in this exclusive tutorial from the artist and founder of KHJ Studio! The workshop will be between 2 and 3 hours long, tickets are £50 and available to purchase at the Get Tickets link.

Discover the story behind Asian hand fans and traditional Korean hanji, a paper made from densely stacked mulberry fibres, and learn how to create an exclusive version of the distinctive KHJ Studio ‘Forest Breeze’ fan. Choose from several shapes to create a modern hand fan, which can serve both functional and decorative purposes.
