WHAT:

"At 96, Iris Apfel is a living fashion legend and a national treasure. A world-renowned authority on antique textiles and the founder of the international textile-manufacturing company Old World Weavers, she’s even more famous for her extravagant, eclectic personal style. The Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute presented Rara Avis, a blockbuster exhibition of her clothing and accessories, in 2005, and acclaimed documentarian Albert Maysles made her the subject of his award-winning film Iris in 2014. Her new memoir is Iris Apfel: Accidental Icon. Hear from this singular personality and visionary when she sits down for a career-spanning conversation with New York Fashion Week founder Fern Mallis."
