"As the legislation deadline approaches in May, fashion and textile businesses need to understand General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the impact it will have on how you capture, store and use customer data. Not only does GDPR apply to new personal data you gather, it is also applicable to the data you hold on past customers. Failure to be GDPR compliant comes with serious consequences, in the form of enormous fines - €20 million or 4% of annual global turnover, whichever is greater.

UKFT’s GDPR roundtable aims to help companies within the fashion and textile sector to navigate the legal implications of the new regulation and provide practical guidance on how to get your business prepared and compliant."
