Originally designed by Ernö Goldfinger in 1962–1967, Haggerston School is one of the outstanding school buildings of the period and is Grade II Listed. In 2009 the school became coeducational and introduced a new sixth form. A major refurbishment of the school buildings followed, which was completed in 2012 and included the remodeling of the main teaching block.
